Robert Kowalski founded Capital Market Consultants, Inc. in 1989. The company provides financial management advisory services to privately-held companies experiencing cash constraints. Additionally, CMC provides third-party advisory services to banks in the areas of commercial collections and client exit strategies and has acted as Receiver in a number of State Court actions requiring full operating control of debtor companies. Projects range in scope from profit enhancement recommendations to full on-site implementation of restructuring and Court-sanctioned reorganization plans, crisis management, M&A review and due diligence, bank/factor/investor negotiations and pricing strategies.
Prior to starting CMC, Robert was an analyst for a banking consultancy that assisted commercial banks with restructuring, M&A and other regulatory matters. Following a stint as a commercial credit officer with a regional bank, Robert was instrumental in the turnaround of 3 banks with problem loan portfolios where he gained extensive experience structuring and negotiating commercial banking relationships. He also has the practical experience of day to day management for several small businesses.
Robert holds a BBA in Finance from The University of Toledo with specializations in Corporate Financial Management and Securities Analysis.
